Employing Digitalization in the Moroccan School Education Sector and its Future Prospects
This study focuses on the digitization of the school education sector in Morocco. The aim is to achieve the universalization of digital education, as well as the digitization of a group of services related to the management of services directed to the sector’s frameworks and learners. The research comes in an international and local context that gives great importance to digitization and the use of modern technology in various aspects of life. Especially in the education sector, which receives attention in terms of forming generations, achieving human development, and ensuring sustainable development. This is important since the bets of the current century are based on digital culture skills, informatics, and advanced technologies.
The basic problem is evident in diagnosing the path of employing digitization in the school education sector and determining its current situation in all aspects, its difficulties, and how these constraints can be overcome. The significance of the topic lies in monitoring the level of success achieved by the established goals for digitizing the sector. The effectiveness of programs related to that and identifying the shortcomings or challenges facing this policy adopted more than two decades ago. This is done by relying on a clear methodology based on analyzing the programs and plans to digitize the school education sector in Morocco from their inception until the present moment. Then searching for obstacles that prevent the complete success of these programs. Finally, providing recommendations aimed at improving the course of this vision based on current sectoral projects.
It is expected that this study will contribute to a deepening understanding of the reality of digitization of the school education sector in Morocco. It will provide solutions and proposals that can improve the effectiveness of the process and overcome its shortcomings. While also providing visions about future projects and ways to enhance it.
