Assessing E-Portfolios’ Effectiveness in Education Methodology for Students at the Faculty of Education Sciences, Mutah University

The research explored the effectiveness of using an E_ portfolio in the education methodology for students in the faculty of education sciences at Mutah University. The independent variable assesses two levels( electronic and traditional portfolio), while the dependent variable is achievement. The research sample consisted of 42 students divided into sections, methodology of education and psychology, one of them was randomly selected as the experimental evaluated by electronic portfolio, while the control by traditional. The researchers followed a quasi-experiment to achieve the goal, and an achievement test was constructed in methodology. The results showed that using an E-portfolio affects students’ achievement, with (0.62) based on Mc Gugians. The results also indicated statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and control groups in favor of the experimental that used E_portfolio. The main research recommendation is to incorporate E_portfolios in evaluating university courses and training staff and students
