Production of Sociological Knowledge and its Relationship to the Development of The Moroccan University

This study aims to identify the key factors leading to a decline in the production of sociological knowledge at Moroccan universities. The adoption of curricula that do not align with global variables can impact the researcher’s efficiency and ability to produce knowledge through scientific presentation. The researcher, who is a professor at the university, believes that the knowledge produced in Morocco is not up to the required level compared to developed countries. This is due to political backgrounds that have imposed themselves on the field, leading to marginalization at the knowledge level. A partnership between the state and the university is necessary to support the production of sociological knowledge. All actors in the field of knowledge, including the state, the university, researchers, and students, must work together to serve and produce sociological knowledge.
In this study, I have leveraged the quantitative method. This methodology was chosen owing to the fieldwork-based nature of the research, and the attendant direct relationship between the researcher and the research environment.
