The objective of this study is to evaluate the condition of education in the Arab world. We aim to identify the root causes of the educational crisis, pinpoint its symptoms, and analyze its impact on scientific research advancement in these countries as compared to more developed nations. We will be using a descriptive and chronological approach to transcend the current reality, keep pace with innovation and modernity, meet challenges, and catch up with advanced nations. Our primary goal is to emphasize education in general and higher education in particular, encompassing all its human, technological, and knowledge components. The transformation of the higher education sector into a productive and efficient one is crucial. A crucial question remains: To what extent do governments in these countries aspire to elevate higher education? Is it genuinely a priority for them?
