The Covid-19 pandemic has led to an unprecedented demand for medicines, healthcare solutions, and pharmaceutical products, resulting in an intensified flow of information. In Morocco, as in other countries around the world, the need to establish agile and reliable communication to keep the public informed has therefore been a top priority. However, the transmission of information from the pharmaceutical sector, particularly those related to pharmaceutical leaflets, during the health crisis in a linguistically diverse environment, requires precise and appropriate translation to ensure adequate understanding and, consequently, the well-being and safety of patients. This article examines the challenges of pharmaceutical translation and the extent to which this translation contributes to communication during a health crisis. The focus was placed, through a qualitative approach, on the six most administered medicines in Morocco during the Covid-19 pandemic, namely: D-CURE Forte, AZIX 500 MG, DOLIPRANE 1000 mg, VITAMINE C 1G GALENICA, 1 g, Héparine 5000 UI/ml, Plaquénil 200 mg. This study highlights that patients are faced with complex medical information. However, the precise and culturally adapted translation of leaflets contributes to a better understanding of the instructions for use, dosages, side effects, etc. Consequently, communication between stakeholders is smoother, and medical/pharmaceutical information is more understandable.
