Typology of New Positive Values Framing Student Life at the École Normale Supérieure in Rabat
The evolving dynamics of Moroccan society, particularly the significant technological, social, and scientific transformations over the past two decades, have significantly influenced young people’s perceptions of values. This study, based on a questionnaire administered to 269 students at the École Normale Supérieure de Rabat (ENS), investigates the new positive values that may shape student life in the future. Our analysis focuses on individual representations. The results reveal a distinct divergence between the values held by future teachers of Generation Y and those of their professors. Students predominantly emphasize values such as solidarity, volunteerism, openness, and communication. Conversely, professors express a preference for theoretical and aesthetic values that promote creativity, innovation, and knowledge
