The Role of Oral Interaction with ChatGPT in the Development of Learners’ Communication Skills

This study investigates how artificial intelligence, through the educational use of a chatbot, can support the development of learners’ communication skills. It examines human–machine interaction as a catalyst for active learning, particularly in language and communication education. An experimental approach was employed with a group of intermediate-level students, involving the creation of dialogue scenarios, the design of targeted prompts, and the use of assessment tools to evaluate learning outcomes. The study also identifies the challenges and limitations encountered during the experiment and suggests future directions for improving and expanding chatbot-assisted learning environments.
