Nowadays, the practice of well-being techniques in the workplace is expanding (Arianna Huffington, 2016). Organizations are increasingly realizing the importance of supporting their employees in improving their mental health and maintaining productivity.

In the same vein, programs have been implemented in the education sector. Thus, we experimented with a program combining breathing exercises, visualization, and meditation over a period of ten weeks at the Ecole Normale Supérieure. Adopting a positivist paradigm and a quantitative research methodology, we were able to measure levels of stress perception among students before and after the “guided breathing” program. Based on the findings, we questioned the opportunities offered by a generalization of the practice to develop stress management skills, cognitive performance, and concentration improvement among students beyond the mere transmission of disciplinary knowledge.
