Socialization as a process of transmitting culture and stereotypes are typically linked, but the main victim is women who are burdened by negative presentations, underestimating and devaluing their values. These stereotypes are found consistently and systematically in the creative process, particularly in education. Hence, the purpose of our article is to highlight gender stereotypes in Morocco and how women manifest themselves in it.
Curricula and textbooks have historically been influential in conveying knowledge and values in modern educational systems. As powerful educational tools, reproduce gender stereotypes. However, they can transmit various gender stereotypes that could have a negative impact on learners in the development of their cosmovision. Consequently, this preliminary study stated that educational policy tends to a profound misrepresentation and confines women to traditional roles.
