From the Limits of the Frame to Sensory Immersion: New Readings of Frida Kahlo’s Work
Space in art has undergone a major transformation, evolving from a simple two-dimensional representation into a dynamic, ever-changing dimension shaped and influenced by diverse technological advancements. These developments aim to enrich the artistic experience while redefining the interactions between art, the viewer, and their environment. Through the example of Frida Kahlo’s paintings, we will explore how pictorial space can be reinvented through immersive devices, and how these innovations enable a more intense and interactive artistic experience, inviting the viewer to rediscover Frida’s universe from a new perspective.
