In the context of climate change, drought has become a more frequent natural phenomenon in Morocco’s history, with negative consequences for the country’s environment and economy. Indeed, the various regions of Morocco have experienced several periods of drought in recent decades, with significant hydrological impacts. The Oued Larbaâ watershed has experienced several episodes of severe drought. These have had a negative impact on agriculture, water resources and the migration of the rural population.
