An Introduction to the Psychology of Work and Organization

This scientific paper deals with the importance of psychology in organization and work as a branch of the applied branches, which is concerned with the study of topics related to organizations. Therefore, we will focus on the problem of separation and integration between the psychology of organization, and the psychology of work, in other words, where both branches begin and end, and this was through a discussion of the most prominent concepts related to the aspect of organization and work, and despite the explanation and clarification of these concepts, it was necessary for us to refer to the most prominent historical stations of psychology, especially since the topics that appeared in each era were affected by social and cultural realities, especially in the period of the First and Second World War, and in light of these facts, the development of science Psychology, so that we find the psychology of work focuses on strategies and rules within organizations. In contrast, organizational psychology focuses on workers and the problems they may encounter while doing their job. Thus, what distinguishes organizational psychology and work psychology is that both complement each other, which gives them more power and expansion, and makes their presence essential in the study of problems associated with organizations.
